yaknow. i see the over reaction here on this thread and wonder what the heck is going on?? i mean, is it any stretch of the imagination that a navy seal would be sickened if he were falsely told that dubya didn't live up to his obligation?? this is america correct. i say it's wrong to attempt to attack this man for his opinion. that puts us no better than the liberal idiots who attack anyone right of karl marx as right wing fanatics. i believe we should accept his opinion and move on, after all, he is only one man.

"The vet has received "nasty calls" since the issue has been publiclized, Minor says, adding, "This is a very peaceful guy. … There's a peace about his voice."

As far as I know, I’m the only freeper who spoke with Ahmad . There was absolutely no friction between us, certainly nothing would be characterized as “nasty”.

(Of course it was an AP reporter that said news of Clinton’s illness was boo’ed at a Bush rally. So why should they be believed now.)

The reporter is right in one respect; the guy does come off as having a “peace about his voice”. He seemed like a very nice old guy with an easy going humor about him. Of course there are all kinds of people with a very peaceful voice. You can’t base a conclusion on just that.

Here’s my report .

How many 30-yr vets have kids at home young enough to homeschool?

Yep, I caught that too.

"...he said the veteran has refused to speak to other media about the issue. "

In other words, he's been busted and he's clamming up.

An Associated Press reporter is standing by his story that describes an anti-Bush veteran as a former Navy SEAL in the face of questions about whether or not the man was in fact a member of the elite unit.

Facts be damned, they've got an election to win!

They're actually interviewing converts to Islam for comments re: GWB? Good grief!

"I really trust this guy," he said. "I believe he's a real straight shooter."

I wonder if he has a hole in the trunk of his car like another mooselimb convert in the news recently.

"I really trust this guy," he said. "I believe he's a real straight shooter." Minor says Majied didn't give him his previous name, "and I didn't press the matter."

Good Lord. Minor probably thinks that Osama bin Ladin has a kind face too.

Hey you people who call yourselves "journalists", be prepared to search, question and verify what you write or you WILL be called to account for it and if found lacking, laughed straight out of print.

Americans deserve and demand MUCH better than what we've been getting. And one way or another, we WILL find the truth. Count on that.

>>These people are no better than Weekly World News.

Actually, this is considerably worse than WWN. No one expects accurate "reporting" from WWN.

I checked. The Superior Court handles name changes. No online database that I could find. Not for name changes.

Any Albany freepers out there?
