He [Mr Hinderaker of powerlineblog.com] told the Sun that most of his early correspondents referenced a post from the previous night on the FreeRepublic Web site dated at 11:59 p.m. by a poster named Buckhead that disputed the memos veracity based on typographical issues; repeated attempts to reach Buckhead via e-mail were unsuccessful. Buckhead...are you out there?
Wasn't there another FReeper who actually raised it first...KC________?

That was TankerKC who thought the docs looked a little weird, nothing like he'd seen when he was in the service. This was about 1/2 hour before Buckhead's post heard round the world. Following TankerKC's post, Howlin found the docs and posted them online. Buckhead then reviewed the docs and put 2 and 2 together.
