Well it seemds like some FReepers want me to shut up and NOT post on threads.
They call it spamming.
Well if I didn't post the way I do the dims and media wouldn't notice.
Just ask yourself why did FOX finally run the Steve Pitkin story today?
Why did Rush mention that Edwards never served when he could have last week?
And do me a favor, come directly to me, not the Admin Moderator if you have a complaint.
So I'll shut up and toe the line.
I'd hate to upset certain FReepers.
I'm not sure what is going on???
Keep up your posts, and of people dont want to read them, they can skip over them.
What's with the free speech police on this?????
What? You quit Posting? No WAY! BALLS TO THE WALL! Full speed ahead. And three sheets to the wind!
Plese, please don't stop your posts. They contain a ton of infortmative links! Thank you so much for your service as a vet and your continued service with your mission to educate gen Xers like me about kerry, the Vietnam war, and the horrific treatment Vietnam vets encountered when they returned home, in no small part because of kerry. You are contributing valuable information. Please ignore the posting police/hall monitors. Please continue to educate this Vietnam neophyte. Thank you for your service!!!!
I don't get what the complaint is. If I don't have time to read your post, I scroll past it. Where's the harm?
You just don't get it.
Don't you think the dims and media come in?
Don't you think they can't see my post?
I shut up for over 30 years and you still want me to shut up.
AND, the way I understand it... you can get on or off a ping list by simply requesting it.
Do not let the piss ants bug ya!
Your one of the reasons I am here, and THANX!
Don't you DARE stop posting, Tonk! Fork anyone that disagrees and that damn horse they came in on.
Like the one poster said: if they don't want to read your posts, they do not HAVE to.
This burns me up! From the way some Freepers post, I feel like I fell into DU hell.
Keep up the great work, Tonk, and don't allow a certain few to stop you. Don't give them the satisfaction.
Promise me????
This isn't my "fight"...but I'm stepping in anyway.
If Tonk were to do that, VERY FEW PEOPLE would take the time to follow that link. You (we ALL) know that FR's being watched FAR MORE than anytime in it's history. I WANT those posts out there. If some lurker, or someone in the MSM trips across them...well, think of the POSITIVE things that can happen!!!
As with any posts, my motto is just scroll on by if you don't want to read it.
Bah, no complaints here.
We like megaphones in crowded rooms!
This is a long time practice on FreeRepublic. It's usually in a few threads. But considering the time we are in, I think this is a minor complaint given we are only 54 something days to the election.
If you fear reading others, do a search on "by poster" and ignore those messages on the thread.
I once decided to limit myself on FR and asked Tonkin to take me off the ping list and he did.
I think you should spend some more time, since you are relatively new, to learn some of the practices. This is a forum and if you did use the term "spamming" that is insulting.
It's ridiculous that this should happen. I hardly ever reply, but I appreciate your pings. They're very valuable to me. They're a good source for information that needs to be spread, and might be missed otherwise.
Brit Hume covered Steve Pitkin today.
ONLY after 1 week on FR
Thanks for your service, and thanks for the great links you provide! Keep up the good work!
I was checking that one out and it was pulled. I found it interesting! Now, there's another thread about the same thing!
Why don't you just shut up! Your not speaking for ME! I won't allow it!
Tonkin......I will stand with you. 30 some years of silence is a long damn time.
