The onus--and what an onus it is--is upon Muslims to prove, each one, that they are not terrorists or terrorist sympathizers. Whenever I encounter a Muslim in my small California city, which is chillingly often, that is all I see.

And just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean...

The truly telling thing is the reluctance of Muslims and Muslim leaders to even decry the horrifying violence commited worldwide by Islamofacists. Except for a perfunctory little statement on the CAIR website last week about the atrocities in Beslan, the silence has been deafening--and telling.

It's not as though Muslim groups don't have access to the media. If one of them gets singled out and wanded at the airport, they run screaming to the nearest warm TV camera. They whine about the evils of the Patriot Act, but they just can't seem to provide any specifics about how their civil rights have been violated.
