It will be interesting to see if this stands. KPRC is a Clear Channel station. If CBS starts exerting pressure on Clear Channel, CC's corporate goons may overrule the local station manager.

.......yes, that's true......Rather was a young reporter with KPRC in the 60s and made his mark by getting out in the middle of Hurricane Carla and giving a live report.....the legend has it that he climbed up into the cupola in the Galveston post office and described the storm swirling around him.

That is the kind of action that will make Viacom take notice--especially if more affiliates (radio and TV) follow.
Viacom/CBS are stonewalling, hoping this issue will go away. It isn't going to.
