Nevertheless, given our successful removal of Saddam Hussein and the subsequent increasing chaos in the country, the idea may grow popular to re-declare "Mission Accomplished" — and then quietly leave. of ensuring that a Baathist Iraq no longer threatens its neighbors or the strategic Gulf states, and can now let Najaf fight Fallujah rather than both of them us. Or so the new wisdom goes.

Those that say things like this (ie. "We have fulfilled our goals") really don't, or choose not to understand why we went into Iraq in the frist place. And it had/has very little to do with WMD, it had/has a great deal to do with bringing democracy/freedom to this part of the world, and addressing the REAL cause of Islamic terrorism.
Will this work? I don't know, but the alternative is (IMO) start comitting genocide on a global scale.

Falluja is actually going quite well. The Marines engage at will and you definetely do not want to be walking down the street in Falluja with an AK 47 or RPG--your head might explode. The bad guys know this and they are folding right and left. Safe house blowing up are not random, we are getting very good intel from local iraqi's that are sick of the bad guys. We just need to be a little patient, it will all come together soon.
