At some point there will be enough data to determine the percentage of black-on-white crime that is categorized as "hate crimes" and the percentage of white-on-black crime the is characterized as "hate crimes". When that day comes, and it may come soon, the obvious misuse of the concept shown by the statistics will result in legislation to remove these "additional crimes" from the laws in all but the most "progressive" "Peoples Republics".

Of course, they are ignoring the fact that the added punishment for "hate crimes is wrong, and abusive of our system to begin with.
