Rush had a fascinating story on blacks and the 527s, and how they are being cut out. Here is yet another example of unintended consequences, where McCain-Feingold made democracy less local and put it more in the hands of the elites. Rendell is complaining that Kerry doesn't have to listen to people like him.
Too funny - a consultant is a consultant, the same as a prostitute is a prostitute. It all depends on the price.
It's called centralized control. Stalin was a big fan of it. Who cares what the peasants and local party hacks think. After all, Kerry knows better than anyone else. Don't believe me? Just ask Kerry.
Rendell would do himself a favor by distancing himself from Kerry. He gets alot of cross party support. This too can change...hear that Ed?
I guess he doesn't want a job from the Kerry administration and/or doesn't think Kerry will win anymore.
You know the ship is sinking when Dems start firing on it.
I never thought I'd say this, but Go Ed Rendell go!
Rush said a year or so ago that if Bush wins re-election this year, the only candidate who could pose a serious challenge to Hillary in 2008 would be Ed Rendell, and he would be a more formidable opponent than Hillary to the Republican nominee.
The Dem primary process bears some blame, too. The inner circle in Iowa anointed Dean, he imploded. Left with little other "vetted" choice, , Dems flocked to Kerry like an old maid at midnight on Sadie Hawkins Day. Without much further ado, he swept the other primaries.
Maybe Fast Eddy can hire those same consultants for his next re-election campaign for Governor of PA.
If Kerry is elected who will be running the government?
Me: Rendell Too Reliant on Food.
Did Fast Eddie Rendell advice Kerry to have his motorcade go 95 miles an hour? That's a great way, I hear, to get people to like you.
