While 100% supportive of George W. Bush's performance as Commander-in-Chief, I've been far less enthralled by Dubyuh's outta control domestic spending binge, leading me to look into supporting either the Constitution or Libertarian candidate fer POTUS. While it's still a 3-person race fer my vote, I will say that the DemonRATS' horrific mud-slingin' and LIES has begun to tilt the playing field in the direction of supporting Dubyuh...all I want to see now is a little more acknowledgement that his Administration's first-term spending binge was a mistake and he'll get it under control in the second term!! That's certainly not too much to ask, is it?!

"WASHINGTON, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Former U.S. President Bill Clinton has set his sights on becoming U.N. secretary-general. A Clinton insider and a senior U.N. source have told United Press International the 56-year-old former president would like to be named leader of the world body when Kofi Annan's term ends early in 2006. "He definitely wants to do it," the Clinton insider said this week.
A Clinton candidacy is likely to receive overwhelming support from U.N. member states, particularly the Third World. Diplomats in Washington say Clinton would galvanize the United Nations and give an enormous boost to its prestige. But the former president's hopes hang on a crucial question that will not be addressed until after the presidential elections: can he get the support of the U.S. government -- a prerequisite for nomination?
The political wisdom is that a second George W. Bush presidency would cut him off at the pass. The notion of Clinton looming large in the international arena from "the glass tower" in New York would be intolerable to the Bush White House. If Democratic candidate, Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., wins on Nov. 2 the prospect of Clinton as secretary-general won't exactly be welcome either, but Kerry would find it much harder -- if not impossible -- to go against it."
SHEEESH, like ya couldn't see this coming...yet another reason to support Dubyuh with yer vote this November 2nd...MUD

"The Pentagon said Monday that invading U.S. troops did not find explosives at an Iraqi site where hundreds of tons of bomb-making material were once stored. ...."The White House played down the significance of the missing weapons, but Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry accused President Bush of "incredible incompetence" and his campaign said the administration "must answer for what may be the most grave and catastrophic mistake in a tragic series of blunders in Iraq."
"But Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman said coalition forces were present in the vicinity of the site both during and after major combat operations, which ended May 1, 2003 and searched the facility but found none of the explosives material in question. That raised the possibility that the explosives had disappeared before U.S. soldiers could secure the site in the immediate invasion aftermath."

The Boss's "No Surrender"
We busted out of class, had to get away from those fools
We learned more from a three-minute record, baby, then we ever learned in school
Tonight I hear the neighborhood drummer sound
I can feel my heart begin to pound
You say you're tired and you just want to close your eyes
And follow your dreams down
We made a promise we swore we'd always remember
No retreat, baby, no surrender
Like soldiers in the winter's night with a vow to defend
No retreat, baby, no surrender
Now young faces grow sad and old
And hearts of fore grow cold
We swore blood brothers against the wind
Now I'm ready to grow young again
And hear your sister's voice calling us home
Across the open yards
Well maybe we could cut some place of our own
With these drums and these guitars
'Cause we made a promise we swore we'd always remember
No retreat, baby, no surrender
Blood brothers in the stormy night with a vow to defend
No retreat, baby, no surrender
Now on the street tonight the lights grow dim
The walls of my room are closing in
There's a war outside still raging
You say it ain't ours anymore to win
I want to sleep beneath peaceful skies in my lover's bed
With a wide open country in my eyes and these romantic dreams in my head
'Cause we made a promise we swore we'd always remember
No retreat, baby, no surrender
Blood brothers in the stormy night with a vow to defend
No retreat, baby, no surrender

"When Americans go to the polls this November it wont just be to place a vote for or against a candidate, it will be a vote for Americas future and its place in history. Few elections in the past can compare with this one for one simple reason: on September 11, 2001 we were attacked on our soil by terrorists in an attempt to affect Americas foreign policy and our choice of leaders. And in that respect the choices couldnt be clearer: We can choose the President who has taken the fight to the terrorists and their nation state supporters, or we can choose a candidate that has all but given them every assurance of victory this time much like he did after he returned home the last time we were embroiled in armed conflict in Vietnam. Voters will be faced with an audacious task but if they take a peek at history theyll be prepared to make an informed decision. Radical Islam has been knocking on Americas door for some time and it wasnt until 9/11 that we had a President and an administration willing, able, and duty-bound to face this emerging threat in a dynamic and devastating fashion."

"The US media still largely ignores news regarding the Islamic Republic of Iran. As Tony Snow of the Fox News Network has put it, this is probably the most under-reported news story of the year. As a result, most Americans are unaware that the Islamic Republic of Iran is NOT supported by the masses of Iranians today. Modern Iranians are among the most pro-American in the Middle East. In fact they were one of the first countries to have spontaneous candlelight vigils after the 911 tragedy..."
