During the Special Sessions (plural) last year that Texas Governor Rich Perry called to redistrict Texas' Congressional Districts, first the Democrat House Members scurried across the Oklahoma border to Ardmore to prevent a House quorum from considering the proposed new Congressional Districts, then the Democrat Senators, in the second Special Session, beat it across the New Mexico border to Albuqurque to prevent a quorum in the Senate from concerdering the new Congressional Districts.

Democrat Senator Ken Armbrister was the only Democrat Senator who did not go to New Mexico, the reason being, the Texas Republicans say, is because he is in a Republican District (from the redistricting in 2001). The Democrats had enough members in New Mexico without Armbrister to prevent a quorum.

Eventually, Perry and the Republicans completed the redistricting. We await the results of that effort in the November 2 election.

The story about the Burkett e-mail was reported on the Fox Report with Lori Dew. It simply stated the fact of the e-mail, generally what it said followed by Kerry camp denies denies denies.

It must be time for Texas Democrats to run off to New Mexico or something.

They probably have voting registration cards there.

Democrats like John Kerry remind me Wile E. Coyote. Always blowing themselves up with their own devices.
