Robin Rather is a chip off the old blockhead. In a weak moment yesterday I wondered if some wag hadn't simply performed a little photoshop magic with her picture and just about laughed myself sick. But, upon further reflection, I've come to the sobering conclusion that it's the real thing. That mug is hers.
That leaves us with this delicious scenario. Once they admit the documents are forgeries, they will be forced to come clean with their history. Who was the source of the documents? That path will lead back to democat operatives in Texas like Robin Rather. Now, I don't think she was the actual forger, but she knows where to documents came from, she is a piece of the puzzle.
I usually get disgusted at FReepers who rag on somebody just because of their looks or their political persuasion. I've seen them do that on women who would be considered nice looking if they were but "on our side". LOL However, I've always considered Janet Reno fair game. And Chelsea.
Now, it looks like there's another one for my list of exceptions. That Robin daughter is so ugly, only a Dan Rather could claim her.
At least Chelsea is feminine, unlike the other two.
Another thread today postulates that Rather's political leanings are caused by his desire to be accepted by the liberal elite who consider him a bumpkin.
Interesting. Probably true!
"Thank you. Need to get a million callers to CBS this week."
I don't think Burkett is the "fall guy" on this two. Two different CBS people reportedly identified Burkett by name as the source of the memos. One was the "source" used by the New York Times and the other was the "source" used by Newsweek.
Clearly, this fraud can be traced to the highest levels of CBS. It won't be acceptable for low level CBS employess to take the fall for Dan Rather and Moonves.
