Outrage: Kerry Campaign seeks to undermine U.S. alliance with Australia in War on Terror
The Weekend Australian (linked from Captain's Quarters) ^ | September 18TH 2004 | Roy Eccleston

JOHN Kerry's campaign has warned Australians that the Howard Government's support for the US in Iraq has made them a bigger target for international terrorists.

Diana Kerry, younger sister of the Democrat presidential candidate, told The Weekend Australian that the Bali bombing and the recent attack on the Australian embassy in Jakarta clearly showed the danger to Australians had increased.

"Australia has kept faith with the US and we are endangering the Australians now by this wanton disregard for international law and multilateral channels," she said, referring to the invasion of Iraq.

Asked if she believed the terrorist threat to Australians was now greater because of the support for Republican George W. Bush, Ms Kerry said: "The most recent attack was on the Australian embassy in Jakarta -- I would have to say that."

Ms Kerry, who taught school in Indonesia for 15 years until 2000, is heading a campaign called Americans Overseas for Kerry which aims to secure the votes of Americans abroad -- including the more than 100,000 living in Australia.

If the Kerry campaign does not denounce the outrageous subterfuge of its surrogate, Diana Kerry, it will be clear that theirs is nothing more than an ambitious power grab with absolutely no regard for the best interests of America. In fact, team Kerry will have actively worked to undermine America's vital interests. Previously, I had found John Kerry’s candidacy amusing. Now I am becoming disgusted.

AND exactly how does John Kerry substantiate these statements? Does he know something that we or the Australians don't know?

This is like the book that Kerry wrote about Logan Airport as a security risk in 1997. How did he know that? Why did he study that?

Duh!!

Even my 6 year old grandson knows this.

Australians are tough like Americans except a small percentage of us called Democrats.

The patriotism of these Democratic Party hacks is being challenged by their own words and deeds.

And this from the rats who denounced Cheney (and demanded a retraction) for saying that if Kerry won and we were attacked, they would treat it as a law enforcement matter. I believe Edwards referred to Cheney's comment as "outrageous".

Who is the outrageous one?

I just pray to God everyday that come November 2 we can just sweep this monsterous family away into the dustpin of history.

Don't forget that when Kerry loses in November, he will still be a US Senator. Of course he doesn't bother to show up to vote so maybe it won't matter.

But I thought Iraq wasn't connected to international terrorism, the MSM told me so.

Hey, if Kerry can't deliver troops from France, he might as well try to make
sure Dubya loses the ones in the Coalition:
