This is easier to accomplish than it sounds. The U.S. House of Representatives, the lower house of Congress, is composed of 435 representatives, each elected from a district of about half a million citizens. The Constitution grants the House the sole power to initiate funding bills for all federal programs. This means that the House, by a simple majority vote, can override the Senate and even the President by cutting off the funding to any program it chooses, effectively abolishing that program. By voting to stop financing the United Nations, and to withhold foreign aid from countries backing the PLO, the House could destroy the PLO and assure Israel's security. We need only 218 votes in the House--a majority by one--to achieve this goal.

Your assertion that 99% of the report deals with the 1970s is pure BS.

I read Pacepa's article (i.e., the post I was replying to) before posting. The only recent (i.e., within the last decade) reference in the entire piece was the in first and the last paragraphs.

Those also happened to be the shortest paragraphs.

You obviously conducted a cursory review to get the flavor of the piece, and then unleashed a barrage of (rehearsed) inuendo.

I read the piece, noted that everything save the first and last paragraphs predated the 1980s, let alone the 1990s or the 21st century, and commented accordingly.

Perhaps you should go back to the sandbox from which you came.

Actually, I should ask that you go back to whatever sandbox you came from, especially since you sound exactly like several previously banned "I'm-a-true-conservative-and-everyone-who-disagrees-with-me-is-a-commie" trolls I've crossed swords with.

Interesting, considering that many of the footnotes of your original post refer to the McAlvany Intelligence Advisor, which has a long-standing record of making stuff up, as long as said stuff might convince people to buy gold. When I was in the Marines, the joke was that "McAlvany's predicted 27 of the last zero nuclear wars."

In the article that you started the thread with, the sole back-up for a claim that the Russians are expanding their nuclear forces is a pair of McAlvany articles; a quick check of this link shows that Russian strategic warhead totals have dropped to less than half their Cold War peak, and that tactical warhead totals are down almost 90%...

First, I am a Bible-believing Christian. I do not vouch or advocate for the website in question (although, it should have occured to me to add a disclaimer...that's what we used to call a "brainfart" in the USMC). Inside Story Communications was a secular, non-denominational organization and went out of existence in 1995. Their newsletter, Inside Story: World Report billed itself as a "Journal of Communist Revolution" and has nothing to do with the website "We Are The Next Target" is posted on. The only reason I linked to it is because I didn't want to type-out the entire report plus footnotes. The editorial board of Inside Story was a mixture of Christians, Jews, and one Buddhist. The virulently anti-Christian bias of the Noahide website is their own, and does not reflect the values and mission of Inside Story in any way, shape or form. At least the website wears its anti-Christian bias on its sleeve, which is more than I can say about CNN or the New York Times. From now on, I will post the text to Inside Story articles without linking to ANY external websites.

B H, I've been running down dozens of these facts for years and to date, over 5 dozen of these footnotes had checked out before I ever knew they were in a piece such as this.

I suggest anyone that wants to spout off without disputing each and every 'lie' they supposedly uncover has their own agenda of diversion.

This source's facts are impeccable. Check them out yourself. There is a continuum and we are in the middle of the end of it..

Point out where the continuum ends regarding the relationship between Communism and Muhammadanism. The public record shows China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, Syria, Libya and most of the players that we see involved in the same activities today, and most notably since Sept. 11th, 2001. Of course Bush has thrown a wet blanket on a lot of it which has slowed the incrementalism (maybe), but terrororist orgs and 'reformed' Communists still work closely together, and lead me to believe the continuum is worthy of contemporary updating.
