I see Dan Rather takes it like the little b!+ch I always knew he was. I can see why he washed out of the Marine Corps Recruit Training.

He's squeeling like Ned Beaty now.

Now you wonder if we have to go back and pick apart everything they have ever reported

No. I was on their program once (a friendly Morely Safer report), many years ago, so I got to see some of it from the inside -- literally from inside their studios. This was a very complex, involved story and I was impressed with how the producer (Gail Eisen) got all the facts down straight. At one point in subsequent discussion, she corrected a "fact" I remembered. When I looked it up, darned if she wan't correct.

I have been saddened to see what "60 Minutes" has become since, and I no longer watch it. But they have done good work in the past.

That is good to hear, at least that helps in that I don't have to wonder if I have been getting totally jived for 25 years. I guess their hatred of the Bush administration and the momentum of this election just got the best of them, and unfortunately for them, will more than likely ruin them.

The arrogance of this man is amazing. HE is the one who is trying to perpetrate a fraud. And he has the nerve to put down FOX News. Rather is a disgrace to journalism.

He sounds just like the arrogant asshole that he's been for years now. I guess, much like Kerry, he doesn't react well under stress, or under any other condition.

Hey hey, ho, ho. Time for Rather To GO!

Had Rather answered "yes" a week ago much of the suspicion and criticism pointed at him personally would have subsided.

Absolutely. Either hubris got the better of him, or he had a good reason for stonewalling.
