I realize that the PC position is that Dan was duped, and that Bill O'Blowhard thinks anyone thinking otherwise is a blind ideologue, but judging purely by Dan's behavior I suspect that Dan is more guilty of duping than of being duped. There's more than just a whiff of corruption in the air.

O'Blowhard's theory is that Dan wouldn't do something risky to imperil his legacy. He might be right. I mean, that would be like a President getting oral sex in the White House then lying about it on national TV. That's just crazy, isn't it?
