This does sound a lot like vote tampering.

It's actually vote fraud.

It's just another case of the Dems encouraging vote fraud. I still remember watching George Snuffalupagus on ABC at the Democratic National Convention right before Gore gave his speech in 2000 actually advertise the web site NaderTrader.com. I will never forget that moment, because it was one of the most jaw-dropping bits of audacity I have ever seen from the MSM.

George pretended it was news, saying something to the effect of: "Well, a lot of Nader voters who don't want to see Bush win but would like Nader to get the 5% he needs for the next election are going to a site called NaderTrader.com...." and then he went on to explain exactly what the site was all about. Needless to say, the hits on that site just EXPLODED that night after the Gore speech.

It was utterly shameless, and it's vote fraud. George Snuffalupagus used the ABC coverage of the Gore nomination to advertise vote fraud to help Gore.
It was then that I realized that the Dems weren't just allied with the MSM, but that they actually ran it.
