I think that some of it has to do with emotionally abandoning your children from an early age.
Many people think that it is perfectly ok to let other people raise their children. Day Care and Aftercare become Mom and Dad.
These kids are crying for love and looking for it from each other.
I do understand that some people need to do this, but it should be the exception and not the rule.
I grew up in the seventies and eighties. The girls who were the most sexually active were the ones from two working parent families. I kid you not.

I have to agree with you.My children are 11 and 16 and we as parents have taken time to explain the importants to be
abstinence until they are more mature and can fully accept responsebility for there own actions.We also set strict guidlines for dating.As of yet my 16 year old son is more focused on school than on girls.Parents involvement in their childrens life is very important.
