It's amazing that the fact that a US Senator could have helped the enemy while still IN UNIFORM as a Naval Officer. He should be investigated for what he admits to have done while in the military NOT what Bush did or didn't do while in the ANG. Persective, anyone? You can't brag about 4 months in Vietnam and then forget the trip to Paris as a traitorous Naval officer, 20 years in the Senate missing meetings, etc. He would have us believe that he went to Vietnam, snatched a guy from the water, went into a deep sleep and then woke up next to TeRaysa with a hint of ketchup on his cheek. Nov 2nd will be a fun night.

What Kerry did was criminal and treasonous, and he should have been prosecuted and imprisoned for it.

This isn't about politics. It's about honor and betrayal and protecting our country. And for me it is deeply personal, as it is for countless vets. Thirty-nine years later, my mother still cries on Nov 14. Thirty-nine years later, we miss my father every day. Thirty-nine years later, Kerry poses as a hero. As children of Vietnam veterans, many of us feel an unwelcome emotional strain as the arguments about what really happened in Vietnam are tugged back and forth, often by people who were not there. We deeply resent the suggestion that our fathers were war criminals as that theme inevitably seeps into the argument.

...hating him now is how I felt 34 years ago. Yes there are many of us who won't forget,the swifties are a small portion of servicemen with excellent memories. He could've been the Walter Mitty of the swifties, and could have been the Rodger Clemens of the medal throwers.

I jotted down Carol's name as I was watching the Vietnam Vets for the Truth rally, to read more about her.. She was a powerful speaker.

On a much smaller scale, I know where she is coming from. I have worked towards President Bush's re-election and the traitor Kerry's defeat, for many reasons.

One of them is my good friend, Billy.

After he completed his first 13 month tour in Vietnam, my dad's next assignment dealt with WIA & KIA calls on next of kin. On many 'visits' his official vehicle was used as target practice for rotten eggs & vegetables while he was met with choruses of "baby killer". After 18 months stateside & feeling the love & warmth of his fellow Americans, he returned to Vietnam. He was more fortunate than many of his friends & collegues, he returned home to us.

I'm glad he didn't live long enough to see the piece of filth who would be president. Carol Crowley writes for thousands of us. I will never forget Kerry nor forgive.

In a way you are right, they should. In a another way I disagree. Think of the smear campaign the left would attack her with.

She went through a lot losing her father and Kerry and clan discrediting him. Imagine the attacks the left would hit her with?

AMEN to your post #39! My son is leaving for the Navy in January - and I DO NOT WANT HIM SERVING UNDER KERRY!!! He dispises Kerry as well, but he is already signed up and must go regardless. He says he will obey whoever his Commander in Chief is - however much he will dislike it. Thank God, I believe with my whole heart that President Bush will win re-election. My son, Nate, went to a Bush rally last week and he was so proud to say "That's the President I will serve under"!

And GunnyB - God Bless you and thank you for your service to our country. You are more appreciated than you know. Maybe the good Lord is using Kerry to make the truth come out!
