Let the FBI arrest Burkett and "extract" the "whole" truth from him.

Absolutely. The Justice Department should be all over this like a cheap suit. Where are they?

Why can't the RNC bring suit against the guy who passed the stuff off as authentic? Make Danny boy an accomplice. After all, Danny has been in the business all his life and must be held to a higher standard than younger and less experienced journalists.

Some here have suggested that since they came "from a private file" they are not official government documents.
However I think that as soon as you put " XXXth Fighter Group" as the letterhead you've crossed the line.

Title 18, US Code, Chapter 47 entitled Fraud and False Statements, includes the laws against fraudulent statements, using a computer for fraud, and wire transmission of fraudulent statements.

Would probably be difficult to get CBS if they acted in good faith, but certainly the perp who created them and transmitted them is ripe for an indictment.

In addition, there are Federal laws against illegally influencing or attempting to influence an election.

That's what I thought (not being a lawyer).

So why is this being equilivated (new word?) to the level of Monica's favors?

I smell a subtle deflection going on. As the real crime of Slick42 (the harrassment of Paula Jones and the rape of J. Broaddrick) was morphed into silly s3x with an intern, so the real crime of the Dems/CBS/AbileneForger is being morphed into something lesser. What that is, they are still trying to figure out, I think.

I think a special prosecuter should be brought in to investigate whether or not the Dims had anything to do with it!

Forging is a crime. Since the use to which the docs was put was not a military purpose the Federal gov't could be outside except for the Interstate Commerce clause that is used to justify so much Federal action.

Not if it comes from the Dems. Nothing will come from this. This "Two-Party Cartel" owned & run by the elites, will pass on it. Any bets? So I being a conservative have to access whether it is worth voting for one single pol in this cartel & corrupted government.

It's a crime when a conservative does it, it's not when a democrat does it. (According to CBS)

For example, Sandy Burger stuffed above-top-secret memos in his pants and walked out of a secure room, possibly in an effort to conceal his failings about OBL.

Nary a prosecutorial peep.

He will plead insanity.

Who, Burkett or Rather? In either case I think the insanity defense would be a winner.

Right you are. Now what is that line about laws, not men, that polliticians love to quote?
