There is a thread on this somewhere on FR with the news that they used a pig squealing dubbed in on the video.
I knew there was no way the man was still alive as far along as freepers were thinking. Because years ago, after watching the Russian soldier video, I asked our pathologist about this, with specifics. He said that once the artery is cut there is about 20 seconds remaining of consciousness. He said the brain loses pressure very rapidly under those conditions. The pain is intense at the beginning, not helping here am I?, but the time is short. Also remember that once they cut the larynx, and I did not watch the most recent one so I don't know when this occurred, but once it does, no one has the ability to scream anymore.
Also without serious drugs there would be seizures and some acitivity from the body of the person. This came back to me when I watched the one of the Romanian, who did appear to be seizing. (After that one, I decided a few was enough.)

As far as it goes, I'll agree with you on that point. While there are elements in the West (mentioned in my earlier post) who are probably benefiting in some way from terrorism (as there are elements in Russia itself, by the way), it's crazy to say that the West per se is benefiting from it. That's certainly not the case.
If Islam does not SOON rise up and address this problem internally, I shudder to think what the world's necessary external solution will be...

That the secular humanists in the West have struck a devil's bargain with Islam against their common enemy of true Christian faith is hardly a paranoid delusion. Look at how the left both in Europe and the U.S. begs for us to 'understand' the 'root causes' of terrorism, discounts the obvious truth that all of Islam which takes the Koran at face value is the enemy, warns against sterotyping Muslims, tries to reimage Islamic terrorists as anti-Americans in their own image, and so forth.
In one of my earliest posts when I said there were some paranoid Russians and pinged another freeper, I was referring to a group who believe that Putin and Russians were behind not only the Nord-Ost attack but the massacre at Beslan as well.
An apparent outgrowth of those who believe that the FSB is setting up terrorist attacks so Putin can take more power.
Excellent point. I wonder sometimes if the Orthodox (in Russia and elsewhere) are aware of the profound division within the West, though - between those of us who sympathize (real conservatives) and the fifth column who have allied themselves with he enemy. In light of Bush's support of Muslims over Christians in Sudan, Egypt, the Balkans, and even possibly Iraq, I seriously question all of the Christian jargon coming from Bush et al. Bush is great at talking the talk but quite miserable at walking the walk. Of course, that's the big problem with all of us.

Islam = Terrorism. There can be no serparation. It has always been so 1500 years hence .
