This is kind of like the guy who has a secret affair while married. One day for whatever reason he admits the affair to his wife.

The Washington Post would argue since the husband eventually told the wife about the affair it was never secret in the first place. What hogwash.

Kerry meets in Paris with Madam Bihn and the North Vietnamese officials. Kerry comes home and is very active in the antiwar movement-These things done while still an officer in the Navy. Goes to testify before congress with the lies we all now know about.
Kerry will not release all military records. He was not discharged until 1978. I wonder if the FBI or CIA filled his military docia with what went on since he commited treason while our soldiers were fighting and dying in the jungles. Why won't he sign Form 180?

VVAW members have said for the record that sKerry met with the commies twice in gay Paris.

My, he was a very active unaccredited surrender diplomat wasn't he. Now he want to take the road show to Iraq. Makes one wonder which of those "foreign leaders" he said he met with?? HMMMNNNN, were there J F'n K secret trips to the middle east??

It is my understanding that he never served out the conditions of his reserve status when he returned from Vietnam. Why won't the press report that?

We both know...

There should be punishment for these treasonous acts against America.

After some hints of "Journalistic objectivity" during the Rather fiasco, I see the WaPo is back on their knees for Kerry.

It should be easy enough to check.

I think the ad has a date on it when John was in Paris; and there's a date when he testified.

Do we know for sure that Kerry was honorably discharged from the Navy?
Was 1972-73 too politically charged to prefer charges against a treasonous officer?
Did Kerry approach aid and comfort in his speech today?
I see they same radical today in a suit today that was a hippy 35 years ago. He hasn't changed his stripes.

Good questions. I'm sure CBS will be asking them tomorrow...

Executive branch sets policy, not his anti-war Demo-rat friends in Congress.

Kerry is a bigger stooge than Dukakis. IMO

"The meeting, however, was not a secret. Kerry, a leading antiwar activist at the time, mentioned it in testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in April of that year. "I have been to Paris," he testified.

You've got to be kidding me. They're trying to pretend that it wasn't a secret because he told them after the fact?

That's as stupid as saying, "Bill Clinton's adulterous dalliances with Monica Lewinsky weren't a secret. He told the country that such meetings happened in August 1998" without mentioning that the allegations of his Oval Office blowjobs first surfaced in January of that year!

Oh, well, looks like all of us on the Pajama Patrol have gotta kick some more MSM tail. Who's got their steel-toed fuzzy slippers on tonight?

...secret meetings are secret at the time of the meeting, but not necessarily a year later. Secret events can be made public after the fact,...

You could put it in terms they'd understand: Despite Linda Tripp, Hillary, and then the rest of the world finding out about it, the impeached former president's "events" with Monica started out as secret.

Of course, if that comparison is made, they'll probably start whining that this is just all about sex, too. ;)

We know sKerry's discharge was apparently "upgraded" during the Clinton Administration. His original discharge has never been released.

Telling the authorities one year later that I murdered someone doesn't make my act any less of a crime.
