NEW YORK (AP) -- CBS appoints former U.S. Attorney General Dick Thornburgh and former Associated Press chief executive Lou Boccardi to investigate National Guard documents story.

I am not sure if you would call Thornburgh's senate campaign a run. He sort of thought that the seat should be handed to him. Good AG though, not as good as Meese, but I liked Ed.

I understand that they will not be using any CBS-owned facilities to prevent a conflict of interest. Instead, they'll be meeting at a Kinkos just down the street from Black Rock.

I also heard that the United Nations is doing their own internal investigation into the Oil for Food scandal. Suspect results will be similar.
