is scientific proof enough for you or are you still in denial? i believe the "warming" that you speak of relates to the amount of time since the current interglacial period began. since interglacial periods seem to last around 10,000 years or so, our time is drawing to a close. unfortunately, MAN is speeding up the process by burning fossil fuels which, as we know, adds co2 to the atmosphere. deforestation also increases the speed at which this process occurs by lessening the amount of co2 that can be removed from the air to be stored in arboreal biomass.
we can ignore this all we want, but the facts remain. citizens of the united states can continue to deny their impact on the global climate because we are misinformed by the media and our government. it is sad that our "president" disregards scientific evidence, however it does not show a great deal of intelligence on the part of the u.s. citizens since we are not holding him or his administration accountable for this blatant disrespect for all life on the planet.

You are full of sh@t! We are not misinformed by the Government; our PRESIDENT does disreguard so called scientific evidence, because most of it is bogus, such as you, sir, guess what, we have more intelligence than you do, so forget that argument, and we totally disrespect you and your ilk!
