He's not conservative enough for me, but I do think he is gonna do wonders for California, esp. considering that Gray Davis f-ed it up.
His budget grew faster than Davis' did (6.8% vs 6%). The current deficit looks to be about 10 billion. He removed the constitutional prohobition on borrowing by hiding the change in Prop. 58 while calling it "cutting up the credit cards." The press cheers.
