All these discussions with the Killians and others took place after the blogosphere had worked its magic, beginning when freerepublic.com

Remember this:

"It was amazing Thursday to watch the documents story go from FreeRepublic.com, a bastion of right-wing lunacy, to Drudge to the mainstream media in less than 12 hours," said Jim Jordan, a strategist for independent Democratic groups opposed to Bush.

LOL! Congrats to FR!

This has got to send Rather thru the roof to get scooped by BLOGGERS discovering those MEMO'S were fake. Not only does it show how incompetent he his, but outright bias.

Why should anyone believe what Rather reports anymore?

In America's history there has always been a select chosen few who were able to tell America the truth. Our time has come and Rather cannot stand the fact that he was outdone and overmatched by someone who supports GWB on the web. The liberal media's time of mind control has come and gone. God Bless America!

You know, that ex-VP Jon Klein, from CBS who first made the "pajamas" remark really started something here at FR with all of us enjoying the "pajama" joke.

With this quote ( "FreeRepublic.com, a bastion of right-wing lunacy") in post #3 by Jim Jordan ........ we ought to work on the "straight jacket"-"rubber room"-"lithium" angle! What do you think?

Bloggers are the Big Bang of the Information Age.

The computer (internet) was the Big Bang of the Information Age - Freepers and Bloggers are the Stars!

And don't forget us average Americans, just wanting the TRUTH from those entrusted with imparting the news.

We don't want to be lied to, treated like we're too dumb to get ALL the information, and we certainly don't want to be treated as if we were willing dupes.

It was a very foolish intended-to-be-derogatory quip from Klein. What it says is that freepers work at jobs; and at night; they keep on working, even after hours, to keep America safe; honest, and free. Conversely, the elite within the Dem Party and their pals in the MSM only sport lies, are only willing to run risk, if they get paid.

That makes them: hacks in slacks.

My 16 year old thinks we should assume the motto of The Borg on Star Trek NG, for our blogging.

"We are The Blog..resistance is futile...you will be assimilated."

LOL!

It's fun that the MSM is finally catching on, but some us remember a more primitive "blog" called alt.current-events.clinton.whitewater.

Remember Hitlery's "Communication Stream of Conspiracy Commerce"?

a.c-e.c.w was on top of the Lippo Group the minute it left Michael Chertoff's mouth, and much of that research found its way to the press.

Juanita Broderick was located through a.c-e.c.w.

a.c-e.c.w. was frequented by Chris Ruddy and Ambrose Evans-Pritchard as well as many other journalists. a.c-e.c.w. participants were in regular communication with members of the press and sometimes even with Congress. At least one Congressional bill (regarding the protection of the FBI's NCIC database from political use) was born specifically from a discussion that began on a.c-e.c.w.

Just to put things in historical perspective.

******

Jim Jordan

Jim Jordan served as campaign manager for John Forbes Kerry for the U.S. presidential election, 2004 until November 10, 2003, when he was replaced by Mary Beth Cahill.[1]

Jordan, who had run Kerry's campaign "since it began last December", had "also worked in Kerry's Senate office in 1999 when Kerry was contemplating and then rejected a 2000 presidential bid."[2]

Jordan, "a well-known Democratic operative, was a spokesman for the House Judiciary Committee during the impeachment of then-President Bill Clinton. He also worked on the Senate committee that investigated political fund-raising scandals in the 1990s and the 1996 campaign that elected Tim Johnson of South Dakota to the Senate." Jordan is also the former head of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.[3]

Truth be told...there seem to be many conservative talk show hosts that do their show prep from Free Republic.

Many of them in thew Old Lazy/Lying Media are so ill-informed that they're still calling FR a blog rather than a Bulletin Board.

Go figure.
