"If Thornburgh doesn't focus on the coordination between CBS, the DNC, and the Kerry campaign, his investigation won't be worth spit."
Guys like him, get picked for tasks like this, because they are "go along to get along" type guys.
In other words, spit.
But correct me, if wrong. This is CBS' own, internal investigation.
Heard several comment that this forgery is federal crime.
If Bush wins, he might consider putting the perps through the grinder, with federal felony prosecutions.
Along the lines of Watergate, of yore.

I expect some of the same just before the election. Something that cannot be refuted because of a lack of time. It better be more carefully thought out than this stunt was. How long did it take to refute this one? Maybe they'll wait until the polls open to drop the next "bombshell."

Substantial,
substantial,
even if it's
circumstantial.
Couldn't be a better bunch
to be caught
with their pants full.

Reminds me of that song that Don Meredith used to sing late in the game when the outcome was obvious......"Turn out the lights, the party's over....."
