Once Upon A Time A Memo Appeared

Once upon a time, a memo appeared ... The untold story of Bush vs. Kerry as told by Karl Rove--even though he'll probably claim he had nothing to do with anything written below

Published September 23, 2004

Memo

To: John Kerry, Republican mole

From: Karl Rove, White House political adviser

I just wanted to let you know that the game plan is working perfectly. By all logic, President Bush should be packing boxes for his move back to Crawford, Texas, by now. He's got a sluggish economy, Iraq is turning into such a disaster that even Republicans accuse the president of incompetence, and Martha Stewart is going to jail while Osama bin Laden is free as a bird.

Given all this, the Democrats had every reason to think they could not only defeat George W. Bush--again!--but actually put their guy in the White House. Unfortunately for them, they made the mistake of nominating our guy, who is merely pretending to be their guy. And now they can't figure out why the campaign is going badly.

Their naivete is almost touchingly childlike. You'd think they'd never heard of Richard Nixon or dirty tricks.

But in all seriousness, let's review some of the tactics we've implemented. They fall into the following categories:

Making Michael Dukakis look good. People thought he looked like a doofus riding in a tank wearing that goofy helmet. But you outdid him when you put on an anti-contamination suit to tour the space shuttle orbiter. You looked like one of those sausages that race around the field at the Milwaukee Brewers' home games. Dukakis would never have let himself be photographed in that outfit--heck, Ben Stiller wouldn't have let himself be photographed in it.

Those windsurfing suits are almost as bad, so put them on any chance

Two things:

1. The Kerry campaign is going so badly that the only explanation this liberal Dem can come up with is that Kerry is a Republican plant who is trying to lose. LOL.

2. These people have an unhealthy obsession and fear of Carl Rove. It is really disturbing. If Kerry's campaign is going badly, in their minds, it is because Rove has infiltrated it and is sabotaging it from the inside. Earth to Lib, Kerry and his people are doing that all by themselves.

Oh yeah, Begalla and Lockhart are Rove plants as well. I forgot.

To: Pete; All

Just to clarify, I know this guy is kidding. Well, at least half kidding. You can tell that somewhere deep down he thinks it's possible.

As are Franken and Combes. Actually, Lockhart is a Hillary plant (she's already got his planner all filled for late '07 and all of '08).

You forget, this is their religion. It simply cannot be wrong. Therefore, when things are going badly, the Satanic Ones (that'd be us) are responsible. If it were not for us, they would have 400 seats in the House, a 86-9% lead in the polls, and the whole world would love us and hug us for pulling out of Iraq and nobody would be worse off for it.

Stories of homelessness and genocide would cease, therefore they would not exist, and once again the world is better off.

We are Evil, and defeating us is a holy thing... therefore (like the Blues Brothers) any amount of deception/forgery/vote fraud/obstruction is permissible in order to thwart the Enemy.

Like Islam, every story must be framed properly (getting that "nuanced" spin), so that the unthinking, truly-believing, hordes of followers will not think to question their Manifest Destiny. If they did, they'd realize they were sowing the seeds of their own destruction, as well as setting the stage for another century of 100,000,000 souls to be murdered by their own governments.

Can you imagine what would happen if all the Blue Dog Democrats and Jewish Democrats realized at once that their insistence upon voting as their forebears did was no longer meaningful, since the Dem Party now stand for exactly the opposite premises now? (race laws now put whites below blacks, policy blames Israel for ME violence, etc)
