Let's see who takes the bait...they obviously are waiting for the October surprise...let's give Bush this election right now...with this pure blatant lie from 2001 on video tape. No way you can spin this. We need to find proof positive that he wasn't there. We need to determine were Kerry actually was on the day in question and so far this hasn't been done.

Rush too. You know everyone, I wonder if we shouldn't take on a project. I know of a couple of lies Kerry told that have nothing to do with Vietnam or the aftermath and I bet if we look, we can find hundreds of them. Wouldn't it be great if we could compile a long list of all his lies?? Anyone wanna help try it?

Isn't insane that he would go? I believe he did. Since it was a success , he tried to co-opt it. Of course, he voted against that war. Kerry has no core, and the people who are voting for him are unwittingly (and in some cases wittingly) supporting a Traitor.

"In General Schwartzkopf's book, the only reference he makes to Senators/Congressmen being present: Date: 17 Mar 91, 1725 hrs. "Phoncon with the chairman. The CINC reviewed his most recent congressional delegation presentation, noting that the senators who voted against the war took up half the time explaining to the CINC the reasons for their votes."
Congressman Ford led the congressional delegation."
How hard would it be to find out which congressmen/senators were on that delegation?

There is mention of a March 1991 fact-finding mission and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in this piece of nastiness - http://www.mediamonitors.net/mosaddeq14.html - about 2/3 of the way down the article. No specific mention of sKerry though.

I can't find a bloody thing that supports this claim. Perhaps it was a super-secret side trip as he returned from Christmas shopping in Cambodia.

The CINC was President Bush (41). The Chairman was Colin Powell. Both were in Washington D.C.. As was the congressional delegation.

"I'm not suggesting anyone on FreeRepublic would own such a piece of trash, but if he were at Safwan, I'm sure he would describe it in his recent book. Far be it from Kerry not to float his own boat about something like that."
I agree, off subject he never never ever brags about he and McCain's normalization of relations with Vietnam.
