I bought a box of tapcons and one of deck screws yesterday, just in case.
My shutters are still up too, mostly, but some of the old fittings have failed, so I want to be ready to reinforce them if Jeanne, named after my wife, decides to come here.
LOL! Does this mean she'll come and stay awhile or come, wipe you out and then leave in a huff? :-)
I bought tapcons a few days ago. Don't know why other than I couldn't find a one near Frances time. I had to use masonry nails. What a pita.
