The big problem with this is that as soon as this happens, Iran will send swarms of Revolutionary Guard terrorists across the Iraqi border for major attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq. This isnt so cut and dry, it could get very tricky.
Iran has many agent here in the U.S. planning attacks. They will attack us on our own soil.
