SAN DIEGO – The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously today to send a letter to the secretary of state urging the passage of legislation mandating tougher voter identification.

The board is asking for a change in state law that would require Californians to show proof of citizenship when registering to vote and a photo ID before voting.

Supervisor Bill Horn, who championed the proposal, said the measures would prevent fraud and protect the integrity of elections.

Elsewhere, the Democrats say requiring IDs of voters would discriminate against minorities and immigrants. THIS IS AN OBVIOUS, BLATANT LIE. WHY? I'm glad you asked.

It's because members of "minorities" know exactly where their precious drivers licenses are, and THE NEWEST LEGAL IMMIGRANTS who have ACTUALLY become REAL CITIZENS have to have their brand-new CITIZENSHIP PAPERS HANDIER THAN ANYBODY ELSE. If ANYBODY should know where their papers are, THEY should (duh)!

It's insane that this isn't already required.

That's just PART of the reason, the other reason is that with ID's, VOTER FRAUD can be more easily exposed AND PROSECUTED FOR THE FELONY THAT IT IS!!!

The Democrat party has a LONG HISTORY of 3rd World, Tin Cup Dictatorship type ballot box stuffing. Chicago stories about Union members taking the day off and voting 10,15, or 20 times in a day have been going on forever.

The "Democratic" party is filled with radical socialists and communists who do not like our Constitution and do not feel as though they are bound by our U.S. Laws so they believe they can do as they please.

Starting a new site, the first of its kind that I know of, which CLEARLY catalogs the corruption, crime, deception and propaganda of the DNC and the Democratic party...

Gee if they don't let the illegals vote in CA, there'll hardly be anybody voting. Maybe B1 Bob should run again if "Loretta the-vote-getta" doesn't have half of Mexico voting for her.

This is pure anti-Mexican hate crime material!! Each criminal illegal Mexican alien wetback has purchased from Mexican consular officials between 3 and 12 matricula cards, each proving exactly who they are. The criminals have then contracted with the local democrat district people to vote for a dem candidate in each guaranteed, authentic, proven name and get $100 per vote.

This legislation could cost some Mexican criminals willing to move from polling place to polling place, literally, thousands of US dollars. Thus, legislation that would prevent wetbacks from earning that amount of cash for voting is clearly a hate crime and should not be permitted. Next thing, the damn gringos would arrest people involved in auto accidents who don't have mandatory insurance just because they are illegal, criminal Mexican alien wetbacks!

I strongly suggest that you make a prominent spot on your site to address the deceptive draft scare that Kerry and Democrats are using. Do a keyword(draftscare) search here at FR for lots of details.

A very accurate point, and Chicago gave us John (methadone) Kennedy instead of Nixon. Daly's union crew/frank sinatra, LBJ and his lackey's in Dallas padded the numbers for their heros. I do wish Nixon had contested the election, but he had too much class. Bush/Cheney 2004
