Help me out here guys. Do you think "Dittohead" on the bumper sticker is a lighthearted spoof on Buckhead?
Stupid question time: Is this cartoon knocking bloggers or praising them? It's been a long week. Go easy on me.

So nmaed for our propensity for saying "ditto" frequently because we believe what Rush is saying to be correct.
IIRC, that is not where the term comes from.
Callers would first say something to the effect of "Thanks for having me on your show" or "Thank you for the show". Then they would get on to the subject they'd called about.
Then someone came up with the idea of saying ditto instead, which caught on like wildfire.

Considering the drooling attack dog, an assault rifle in the truck's cabin, his reference to Jethro (Beverly Hillbillies) and what looks like a beer can on the ground, I wouldn't say this piece was flattering.
Not to mention, he hit the deer by "accident".

This cartoon exemplifies how libs see the "far right." We're all a bunch of ignorant, racist, rednecks to them. We receive our marching orders from Rush (Dittohead)and only watch Fox News. I'm surprised the cartoon didn't have the hunter with a KKK hood over his head.

As Rush frequently explains Ditto simply means that your like his show, not that you agree with him.

The 2nd version is the most accurate.
Early in the show's history one caller up and said, basically, that he was thankful that a show like limbaugh's was finally on the air- that it was a refreshing break from the mainstream, liberal media - etc, etc.
The next caller up said "ditto" to what the previous caller said about being glad rush was on the air.
It has nothing to do with agreeing with what limbaugh says - just that you agree you're glad he has a show on which to say these things.
