Bush definately has the charm advantage at the debates. Plus, no matter his weaknesses in extemporizing, he's a plain talker, unlike M. Kerry.
Besides, these aren't real debates, I don't know much about what real debates are, but these political debates aren't that. I think I heard that Kerry really was a great (maybe even literally a champion) debater back in the day, but these campaign events are just another animal altogether.
I agree with you. I was just amused at the 180 they've done on Bush's prowess now that they have a dud for a candidate.
