Philadelphia -- Escalating his critique of President Bush as commander in chief, Sen. John Kerry declared here Friday that the invasion of Iraq was "a profound diversion from the battle against our greatest enemy, al Qaeda," and asserted that he would refocus the nation's energies on "the real war on terror."

"Iraq is now what it was not before the war -- a haven for terrorists.”

Good strategy you pompous, 'horsefaced-jackass'! Avoid the terrorists 'on-the-field' and hit them at the banks and maybe bring them to court.

Folks... what we have here is mutated hybrid of Carter and McGovern with a smidgen of M. Stanley Dukakis thrown in for stench!

Before the war, terrorists were meeting on United Airlines.

I noticed they had a link to ACT, the vile group under investigation in Ohio for Vote Fraud. Says a lot about the NYT.

Notice when its Kerry, he's "turning up the heat" or "striking back" but when its Bush, hes "on the attack".

Kerry is a mouth breathing idiot who has no idea what he would do if he were in the drivers seat. He does know how to spew out a bunch of bs.

<<>>> Oh Pompous Jackass-in Chief: Let's open the books on who and what TerAyza's money is funding through the "Tides Foundation" and every other shadowy left wing tentacle group sucking on the teat of the late John Heinz' family fortune.

Does this mean he supports deporting Cat Stevens? Wonder what the musicians from his "vote for change" concerts have to say about that? If there's a side to any issue he doesn't support i've yet to find it. Flipper lives in a world full of wonder, lying there under, under the sea.

"a profound diversion from the battle against our greatest enemy, al Qaeda,"

I just love the way the Johns attempt to limit the scope of the war.

Does this mean Kerry will declare war on the DNC, Soros and Move-on?

He just doesn't get it. This is STATE FUNDED TERRORISM we are fighting. By going after the STATES that fund terrorism, you take away their money. Iraq was indisputably one of those STATES. Many terrorist groups had/have bases there and the infamous Abu Nidal lived in Bahgdad (sp?) until his "sudden" death just before the invasion and Saddam openly rewarded/funded the families of Palestinian suicide bombers. Its not the banks that are funding terrorism, sir, it is STATES like Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Libya and North Korea that are and we've already taken care of three of them, no thanks to you, your French pals and your party.

So, yes Mr. Kerry it is a good idea to defund the terrorists. Unfortunately for you, we've been doing just that for nearly two years now. Since you haven't been to work in a while, I guess you missed the briefings.

Right now, I'm seeing the John Kerry I served with, the guy who says what he thinks," Biden said of a candidate so often described as running his best when running from behind. "I know this John Kerry."

Thanks Joe for admitting what we all know, there are multiple John Kerrys. How is anyone voting for Kerry going to know which John he is electing?

Ohh, so that's what he meant by waging a more sensitive, less aggressive war on terrorism.

It's 'way-back' time boys & girls

"Let me be as blunt and direct with the American people as I can be," .... "The invasion of Normandy was a profound diversion from the battle against our greatest enemy -- Japan -- which killed more than 2400 people on 12/7 and which still plots our destruction today. And there's just no question about it: The president's misjudgment, miscalculation and mismanagement of the war in France all made the war on Japan harder to win.

"Europe is now what it was not before the war -- a haven for Nazis. FDR made Adolph Hitler the priority. I would have made Hirohito the priority. As president, I will finish the job in Japan and refocus our energies on the real war."

As we all know, if the above speech was given by a sitting US Senator during WWII, he would have been arrested, tried for Treason and shot!

We are going to bankrupt an organization whose members eat rat dung and whose weapons are 98 cent boxcutters? In other words, no war on terror.

Kerry also promised to "wage a war on terrorist finances every bit as total as the war we wage on the terrorists themselves."

I agree with you, sl, that that should certainly include Teraaaaza's Tides Foundation.
