Bush/Rove/Hastert/DeLay Inc have forced the Democrat Party so far left that they [Democrats] are going to go the way of the Whig Party -- into oblivion. We're at the beginning of Pax Republicana here, the Republicans should dominate Congress for the next 25+ years, just as the Democrats dominated Congress so most of the 2nd half of the 20th century. However, the Republican Party may not be able to regain its conservatism and a new conservative party will sprout up in about 10-15 years and start growing.
