Was that the first or the third debate? I got so hypertensive during the first debate I didn't watch the other two. I don't remember Gore doing something that stupid (other than his patronizing sighs) during the first one.

It was a prize! Don't you remember hearing about it? Gore demanded that Bush answer a direct question from him, and while Bush was trying to answer the question he was asked, Gore invaded his space--trying to intimidate him. Bush stopped talking, turned his head to look at Gore and said, "How ya doin'?!"
It was great! Gore looked like a complete arrogant jerk!
