Why should anyone be surprised?
There should have been outrage at the way the Democrats stole the New Jersey Senate seat in 2002.
There should have been outrage over the leaked Democrat Senate Judiciary Committee memos detailing attempts to defer approving court nominees until favorable rulings were attained in federal court.
There should have been outrage over the leaked Democrat Senate Intelligence Committee memo detailing plans to use intelligence to string along Republicans until they can "pull the trigger" and force investigations on Bush during the 2004 campaign.
There should have been outrage over former National Security Advisor Sandy Berger stealing highest secret documents from the National Archives by stuffing them down his pants prior to President Clinton's testimony at the 9/11 Commission, and then claiming that they were inadvertanly removed and inadvertantly destroyed.
It's a little late to be wondering about outrage now.
