News reports from Kuwait claim that the two Italian women who were abducted are still alive too - but none of these reports are confirmed.

I hope this is true, but even if it is, the butchers will still behead him, barring a miracle. As for the Italian women, I still maintain that women have no place in a war zone, for any reason.
