Funny that Oakland's mayor hasn't weighed in on this issue. What's his name again? Oh, yeah. Jerry Brown.

And it seems to me he's running for some state office right now. Let me think. Oh, yeah. Attorney General.

J. Moonbeam Brown may be a left wingnut - however he is one of the few honest and trustworthy public trough feeders around.

I don't agree with him often but I do respect him.

City Council President Ignacio De La Fuente on the other hand is a classical case of "the problem". (if investigated would probably have cookie jar hands)

City Councilmember Larry Reid on the other hand seems to have his priorities right. I'm going to give his office a call in the AM and let them know he is appreciated.
