Just read an old essay on the Kennedy Nixon debates. For the first debate Kennedy had just returned from a weeks campaigning in California and was well tanned, naturally. Though his face may have been full because of Dr.Feelgood's magic injections. As the ultimate Kennedy wannabe does it surprise anyone that Kerry would visit Hollywood Tanning?
As a note of contrast, Nixon had suffered a knee injury six weeks prior to the debate. he had been out of the hospital ten days, had lost 10-12 pounds and was on pain meds. He was in marked contrast to the tanned JFK. Kerry is dealing with an opponent who runs 3 miles a day. Who lives an outdoors life and who's a lot more fit than I am one year his junior. I don't think the contrast will be noticed.

Obviously the delayed effects of Agent Orange exposure in Nam. I wonder if he'll put in for another medal?

My side is hurting from all the laughing on FR today. I think I'm going to have to take off for a few hours to give myself a rest.

Remember how Clinton in '92 would dye his hair to match his audience at big campaign events? I did a video on it and it aired as a Viewer Video on Rush's TV show. :-)

I don't know why Kerry insists on adopting the "rich boy" look. Guess that's how he feels most comfortable.

MEMO on Friday pic:
If you let them slather you with pancake makeup, make sure the shade matches your hands.
It's not even close. It's as bad as those little old ladies with a maquillage line along the jaw.

I'd like to think you're right.
However, I take a cynical approach.
Though these women may not like Kerry for his deameanor or physical appearance, in the end they'll vote with their feelings.
And that means a vote for John Kerry.
I will be more than glad to be proven wrong on Nov 2nd.

Doesn't he know that tanning is for corpses?

Eeeeek.
I have a tan, but it's due to hiking, riding, and dog training - so it's a "farmer's tan" - stops where my T-shirt neck and sleeves begin . . . :-D

I've heard Kerry does a lot of outdoor sports - - like windsurfing!! I know he's older than Bush, but I read somewhere that being president is really tough, and it ages people. I think Bush's hair has gotten somewhat grayer, but maybe that was just natural aging anyway.
To: Marcus Alonzo Hanna
Just another step towards his goal of becoming the second black president of the United States.
