Friends with mailing address of Banner Elk lost so much in the first storm I can not imagine what more flooding would be like.
The cabin I stay in, when visiting them, was moved and the steps are 1/4 of a mile away.
Their lawn and garden and peach trees are all wiped out and replaced with ROCKS. The pictures she sent showed others who lost entire homes.

national guard planes were severely damaged (destroyed) and they estimate 15,000 gallons of jet fuel spilled. Several businesses were also severely damaged (destroyed) and there are eyewitness accounts from owners and employees.
Once again, I have been very, very fortunate with these storms, and I daily count my blessings.
