The vile Bill Maher is currently being interviewed by Chris Matthews on Hardball - MSNBC.
In discussing the detailed agreement the campaigns came to regarding the debate format, Maher stated:
"the Bush people arranged that there would be no M&Ms so Bush wouldn't choke on them when he's drunk."
Matthews reproached him and told him not to say that. Maher claimed he was kidding.
What is this evil clown doing on a purportedly serious show?
Was this said on Hardball or Oddball?

Unfortunately, I think he still has that crap-o-rama on HBO. I never watch it. It's like four liberals in search of a conservative to beat up in front of a live Moonbat Hollywood audience.

I'd like to know how he's gotten away with claiming to be a comedian for so long.

I've asked that question for years. I think it's because he used to be a speechwriter for Jimmy Carter and an aide to Tip O'Neill.
I have no idea why this guy keeps getting invited onto talk shows. He's been on O'Reilly, Scarborough, and now Hardball. Who cares what he thinks? What are his credentials?

Agreed. Particularly when you're talking about a person about whom everyone seems to agree gave up all drinking years ago. What an ugly, stupid thing for Maher to have said.
