Indeed, there are some wonderful quiltmakers here. Martha probaby will want to dedicate several issues of "Martha Stewart Living" to this particular form of folk art. Perhaps she also will do an episode of the TV show on fun foods made with ramps (an acquired taste, to be sure, and quite exotic to the Hamptons and Connecticut palates). Yessir, I can see an entire Thanksgiving dinner in this style: ramp and cornbread dressing for the turkey, sauteed ramps as a side dish, ramp wine, ramp jelly - the possibilities are endless.
what the heck is a ramp??
And maybe we can reunite "The Ramp Supper Band" to organize the theme music! LOL
HAHAHAHAHA! Ramp!
Stop...stop. You're killing me. I want to run home and cook beans 'n cornbread. Wishin' it was ramp season.
