It was USMC, not these guys, but I certainly appreciated the day that the counter fire from the battery stopped an incoming barrage. The Bad Guys were walking the rounds in while bracketing. I watched them land back and forth while getting closer and closer.
The counter fire stopped them as they got within 300 meters or so of my location.
It was great seeing the USMC rounds impact a few clicks away and having the Bad Guys go silent.
