VERGE OF REVOLUTION: Intense Fighting Throughout Iran!

Reports over the past 24 - 48 hours via several important information services such as SMCCDI, Peykeiran, Zagros and direct email reports and phone calls from Iranian citizens is beginning to shine light on what at this time looks to be country-wide fighting and quickly escalating into what could potentially become a freedom revolution.

Several independent citizen sources have reported the formation of significant crowds throughout the country, and have heard many loud explosions and gun shots, including in the cities of Tehran, Esfahan, and Shiraz.

SMCCDI and Peykeiran have both reported intense battles between freedom-loving Iranian citizens and the regime's fanatical militias in the village of Meeyan Do Ab. Both sources are reporting many deaths and injuries both to the villagers and regime's forces.

In the past week and recent days, many regional commanders and leaders of the regime's militias have been targeted and killed along with many of their militiamen.

Initial reports from Iranian online news sources as well as from western satellite news media are reporting intense fighting throughout Iran, and report that such fighting is increasing at a constant rate.

On September 28th, SMCCDI reported that in Iran's main southern port of Bandar-Abbas located by the Hormoz Strait on the Persian Gulf, heavy fighting between Elite commandos of the Pasdaran Corp and Iranian residents who were protesting the regime's murder of three fishermen broke out. Angry residents attacked several public buildings as well as regime vehicles with incendiary devices.

Reports also indicate that Bandar Abbas is the main commercial entry to Iran and its paralysis could help spark unprecedented chaos that would severely threaten and likely cause the fall of the Islamic Regime.

Regime forces are also acknowledging the discovery of several ammunition depots used by Iranian citizens against the Mullah's militias.

At this time and for several months now, regime security forces have remained heavily deployed in the most strategic areas of Iranian cities in an effort to prevent the spread and growth of any major uprising.

The current situation appears to be quite explosive at this time.

Iranians continue to email and phone reports out of Iran - ActivistChat.com will continue to monitor and relay such information.

I doubt it would happen but it would be nice to see the "rebels" take control of the country and establish a new country Persia.

If you are an Iranian reading this post, my prayers are with you. When you go to establish your country remember a few things:

1) Rights come from God and are recognized or denied by governments.
2) Pay close attention to that freedom of religion thing
3) Pay VERY close attention to that right to free speech and association.
4) and pay SPECIAL attention that that right to own and carry arms.

We've speculated here for months that 'vigils' and student demonstrations would not do the trick.
If this report is true we need to pray that the folks finally fed up with fascist misrule can be successful.
And, for that they need to understand that once begun, you cannot stop the revolution until it's been done.

Prayers for the Iranian people. We've heard reports like this before, but if this one gets confirmation, this could be huge.

Welcome if true, but Iran is not Maoist China. Westerners do travel and enter and leave the country. Are there reports of these events from other sources? The existence of widepread reistance to the mullahs and the existence of widespread violence should not be difficult to verufy.

Ya'll think this would be happening if the U.S. was not kicking mullah butt in Iraq?

This could turn out real nice for Bush, and the world.

I hope it goes as nicely as the East German revolt.

I'm with you.

I hope and pray for their independence, but I wonder how soon it'll happen.

forgive me if I don't make any plans to celebrate.

Same here. I just don't see an imminent downfall of the mullahs, especially without the active involvement of the Iranian military. Not to say it won't happen (it will), but not anytime soon - which is too bad, since this would be the best way to put the brakes on Iran's funding of international terrorist movements.

If this is true and not exaggeration, Dan Rather will be reporting and updating hourly.

"Could the Bush Doctrine actually be working?"

I find the timing of this most suspicious.

I sure hope that elements of the US Gov't know when to push. Sounds like now is the time to shove the aiyyyiitollahs over the edge.

Well, let me be the first to say: Its Bush's fault! If we hadn't kicked Hussein out of power and we didn't have thousands of coalition troops next door, this chaos wouldn't be happening!

Seriously, I think almost all Americans are hoping and praying that freedom will overcome the mullahs of Iran that have oppressed that country for a quarter-century.

Anyone want to bet that some of the $200 Billion is funding the insurgents in Iran. In fact, within two weeks, Iran will be overrun with "Freedom Fighters".

The timing is very suspicious! This is obviously a campaign stunt cooked up by Karl Rove/Halliburton/Big Oil. The Bush handlers are obviously desperate to stem the surging Kerry campaign!
