When I was in HS, I did a piece like this using honest statistics to show that East Germany was whipping the tail off W.Germany... ROTFLMPO ... some high schoolers never learn.

Willie Green's worldview seems to coincide with many of East Germany's economic policies - like having a labor-intensive, low productivity workforce that is entirely unionized and has guaranteed lifetime job security, along with strict import/export controls.

I knew in grade school that such a "report" would be B.S. I am not kidding. Honest stats? From whom?
Or was your report facetious? Were the other students dumb enough to believe it? Did anyone believe that the Wall was to keep West Germans out of the East's workers' paradise?
