Not only should taxpayers not be paying for weight loss programs, we shouldn't be paying for ANY medical treatment for people with self-inflicted obesity. Just watch how fast they learn to lose weight, if there's no free treatment for diabetes, clogged arteries, ruined knees, etc.

But seriously, we've really stepped into it by telling folks to forgo personal responsibility. There are just too many duffuses who'll swallow it....without a second thought.
