"Homosexual unions are totally lacking in the biological and anthropological elements of marriage and family which would be the basis, on the level of reason, for granting them legal recognition. Such unions are not able to contribute in a proper way to the procreation and survival of the human race.
The possibility of using recently discovered methods of artificial reproduction, beyond involving a grave lack of respect for human dignity,(15) does nothing to alter this inadequacy."
CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING PROPOSALS TO GIVE LEGAL RECOGNITION TO UNIONS BETWEEN HOMOSEXUAL PERSONS

Reminds me of my reaction to the debacle of the televised confirmation hearings for Justice Thomas.
Both Clarence Thomas and Law Professor Anita Hill raised their hands and took an oath to tell the truth, and then one of them committed perjury.
Since then I have refused to take an oath in court or even in a hearing over unemployment for an employee who quit. I will affirm I will tell the truth, I understand the penalties for perjury, but I will not raise my hand or swear to tell the truth.
Oaths are now worthless wastes of time, as few respect the premise any more of being accountable to God if one violates the Commandment not to swear false witness.
And perhaps we are coming to the point that filing legal papers with the state after having a Christian marriage solemnized in a church with vows of to death do us part is now a denigration of the blessing of the union by God during the church ceremony.

Here comes the schism of the Church of England and its American equivalents. It cannot be stopped. The fate was set in stone when the first bits liberal garbage appeared within its hierarchy.

"In response to the ruling today by the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia against the Institution of Holy Matrimony and your government's dereliction of duty in failing to oppose it, I write to inform you that where as I will not be a party to this violation of God's first Institution; from this court decision forward I do hereby cease to act as the Government's agent for registration of any marriages I may hereafter solemnize in this Province," said Rev. Homosexual Agenda Ping.
More men and women like this pastor are desperately needed. People who are not scared rabbits; people who have the courage and wisdom to stand up and speak out against evil. Even if it costs them something.
Let me know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.

There are a few, during the course of history, who have stood up against evil. This man is one of the few, I'd say. However, I'd imagine most ministers in Nova Scotia today would marry a horse and a coyote, if they came asking, and not bat an eye.
