Bush comforts hurricane victims in Martin County

STUART -- Gary and Cindy Deaton were driving Thursday to do laundry at the home of a friend who has power when they saw a roadblock that looked to be the mark of a presidential visit.

They didn't want to miss their chance to catch a glimpse of President Bush and his motorcade so they pulled over to cheer him on. The Deatons also said they wouldn't miss the debate Thursday night _ even if it meant using a generator to power their television and their old rabbit ear antennae to get a snowy reception.

While President Bush spent his morning helping victims of hurricane Jeanne, Kerry spent his day getting pampered and a manicure. Real men file their own nails.

Kerry has also recently had his teeth covered with porcelin veneers.

The latest pic of Kerry looks like he just came off the TV show Extreme Makeover. The gigantic white chiclets for teeth, the airbrushed tan, the styled hair. Yuck, what a girlyman.

Kerrys teeth look like WMDs. His nails also. They are about equal in length. His nails are longer than my wifes.

Professor Niven said voters from both parties have been distracted _ both the affluent, Republican-leaning coastal residents and the lower-income residents who tend to vote Democratic.

He really doesn't want to know what this lower-income Republican has to say about that statement.

I heard on our local radio talk show here that Kerry said Bush needs to quit cleaning up Florida and get back to the nation's business. (or words to that effect) They were said in the interview with Diane Sawyer.

Can anyone verify that? (would make a great political advert here in Florida)

He apparently doesn't realize that the majority of "coastal" residents are wealthy liberal senior democrats from the north east.

I'm talking about real Texas range men who cut and haul cedar posts in their spare time from CEOing the big country. They don't have time for sissy manicures (why I bet Kerry even puts those cute little cotton things between his toes when he gets his pedicures)they just rip those excess nails off with their teeth since their hands are busy. (As an aside my wife told me about those cotton things)

W probably knows this area well. His grandmother lived on Jupiter Island (just a few miles down the road) for years.

It's nice to see him show these people that he's there for them.

I heard that remark by Kerry last night driving home from th store and thought, "man Kerry just lost Florida!"

I sure hope the RNC or some hard-money 527 makes an ad with that imperious Kerry voice saying those words and plays it again, and again, and again, and again in Florida. Especially where the blue-hairs live that have had their houses blown away.
