There are virtually no Republicans who are against the FMA... About 16% of the Republicans didn't vote for it. That's one in six.
...our President announced that he is in favor of it
And our Vice President announced that he was against it.

I wrote "virtually," meaning "for all practical purposes." The word was around before electronic computers were.
And a higher percentage of Democrats voted in favor of it. It is also likely that quite a few Democrats will lose their seats as a result of their vote against it.
The FMA will be back soon, and it will pass.
